L’IAE de Poitiers est l’école universitaire de management dédiée aux domaines de la gestion, de la finance, du management et du marketing. Elle est intégrée à l’université de Poitiers depuis 1957.

The IAE of Poitiers is the university school of management of the University of Poitiers.

It is a reference in the fields of management education, finance, management, marketing, communication and economic intelligence.

Its vocation is twofold: to be at the service of its students and to meet the expectations of companies. It is the guarantee of a strong and quality professional insertion for its graduates, in France and abroad.

Based on a solid theoretical foundation, the teaching offered by the IAE wants to be in touch with the problems of companies. It is both teacher-researchers and professional speakers who provide courses. Students and employees have access to a wide knowledge, delivered in a pedagogical way adapted to each.

4 types of training are offered : initial training (for students), continuing education (for employees or people undergoing retraining), apprenticeship (for candidates for work-study programs), distance learning (for those wishing to combine work and studies).

The IAE of Poitiers was founded in 1956 as a faculty institute. It subsequently offered a complementary training to legal studies: the Certificate of Aptitude for Business Administration (CAAE).

In 1985, the team of “managers” of the Faculty of Economics joined that of IAE within the Institut de Gestion de Poitiers – Institut d’Administration des Entreprises (IGP – IAE) then became an autonomous component of the University of Poitiers.

Since then, the IAE of Poitiers is constantly developing new ways of access to its training, whether internationally or through distance learning.

The IAE of Poitiers is a member of the national network of IAE which includes 38 IAE.
