What if you became a researcher?
Apply for the University Diploma in Management Research
The objective of the University Diploma in Management Sciences Research is to raise awareness and introduce students to research in management sciences and information and communication sciences. It is common to all professional masters of IAE.
For more than ten years, this training has been innovative and novel:
– Innovative, because it is organized exclusively in the form of seminars, which allows by blocking certain periods known in advance to involve the largest number of students, especially those who do not reside on site, and those who are in professional activity.
– Unheard of, because the working sessions are organized by pairs of confirmed researchers, which allows for the exchange and appreciation of different points of view and a transversal approach to the subjects.
Administratively, it is possible to follow this training in addition to a simultaneous registration to a Master 2 of the IAE, or as a single registration to the University Diploma for students who already hold a Master 2 and who want to follow independently this complementary training.
Students work under the responsibility of a teacher-researcher authorized to direct research (HDR) within one of the themes structuring the laboratory’s scientific project.
– Admission requirements
To join a Phd program, students must hold a research master’s degree (or a diploma of advanced studies), or a research course within a professional master’s degree with honors or very good.
The candidate’s ability to carry out his/her research project is evaluated by the CEREGE laboratory’s thesis committee on the basis of the project approved by the thesis director and the laboratory director. In case of a favorable opinion, the file is then evaluated by the scientific council of the thematic doctoral school which makes the final decision concerning his registration in the doctoral program.
Registration must be renewed at the beginning of each academic year. The normal duration of a thesis is three years full-time and three to six years part-time. Each year, the student must propose a progress report on his or her doctoral work, which will be reviewed by the individual monitoring committee.
During their doctoral studies, students are also required to validate a certain number of credits relating to training provided by the Poitiers College of Doctoral Schools and the Doctoral School of Society Sciences, Territories, Economics and Management (SSTSEG – ED 613) to which the CEREGE belongs. He will also have to participate in the laboratory’s seminars.
